Nouchali

Nouchali's original clan was torn apart.

Rumors had been heard about an emperor in the Southern Icefield, so the Nocturne Katsura offered to go and gather info, being the smallest un-assigned dragon who could blend into the terrain. While she was there, she ran into a quiet Skydancer, who swooped down and tried to get her to leave. Being stubborn, Katsura didn't leave, so the Skydancer left, frustrated. Later that night, after Katsura had dug into the ground to shelter herself from the horrible blizzard, she heard horrendous roaring and screeching. Emerging from her hole, she saw some dragons fighting an Emperor, and tried to help. They barely survived. She went back to the temporary lair they had, and saw the Skydancer again. While she was there, she learned about their history. She learned the Skydancer was named Athiphyllum. Athiphyllum asked Katsura to take a hatchling to save it from the fate of her clan. Katsura complied, and brought a hatchling back to the Fos Dynami Clan.

Once back in the SunBeam Ruins, Katsura learned that Athiphyllum was named after a flower. A Snowflower, to be exact. Because she was the one who brought the hatchling back, and the hatchling was too young to choose a name, she decided to honor Athiphyllum, and named her son Nouchali, after the flower Nymphaea nouchali, or "Blue Lotus." Katsura has taken a liking to him, and makes sure he is well cared for, even letting him sleep wrapped in her wings.

Nouchali is a kind, inquisitive soul, but has a sense of despair that seems to cloak him. He has learned much, and knows about the history of his Mother's Clan. He is interested in archeology and history, hoping that he can use the Light Flight's vast knowledges and know-hows to find a way to help his birth clan. He wears a bulb on his head to help him see in dark dig-sights (or for late-night reading). He can often be found making forays into the Hewn City to do further research, because there are….energies….there that seem familiar to him….


He has also decided that he will act as the Fos Dynami clan's Ice Ambassador. He says it is just until he finds someone else to do the job, but…..
