Biography

Deciduous
Shapeshifting Witch

Deciduous came to Clan Dread with the witch leader Amethyst and Deciduous' mate, Evergreen. While not as powerful as Amethyst with her habit of enacting curses, Deciduous is quite the unique witch in her own right. Specializing in animal magic and shapeshifting, deciduous has learned how to communicate with all lifeforms, and has a limited ability to shapeshift herself, although she has not figured out how to change the coloration when shapeshifting, which is slightly problematic with her bright coloring.

As her mate is a nature mage, the two can often be found in the forests and jungles on the edges of dragonhome, Deciduous conversing with the local wildlife while Evergreen focuses on the more chlorophyll-based lifeforms. Often Deciduous will come back with news from the outskirts, important information on beastclan movement that the wildlife tell her about, invaluable for the protection of the clan.

Deciduous had followed Amethyst because she thought she could learn from her, but she wasn't quite sure anymore. While her wind and shadow magic was powerful and very useful, the last few clans they had visited seemed to have fallen on hard times after their departure, and she couldn't help but think that Amethyst might have something to do with it.

She glanced at her mate- he seemed determined, but she saw the inkling of doubt in is eyes. But what could they do? Both of their magics were weak across the deserted plain, and Amethyst was kind and helpful to them- they just needed to continue to stay on her good side.

Amethyst spotted the lair entrance ahead. "Now then, let's see if this clan is a bit more welcoming..." Deciduous turned again to her mate again and raised an eyebrow...indeed, she did hope they had finally found a home, for she did not want to think what would happen if they once again were turned away.
