Biography

Dr Quaver
• (former) medic
xxxTheme song: Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc
Battle theme: insert song theire

Special ability: (Emotional) Shock therapy.
Quaver can summon painful memories, things his opponent prefers to keep hidden and other rather nasty things which can stun an opponent and make them question if they REALLY want to harm the coatl.
Hidden ability: Reasonable insanity
This ability prefents others from being able to use mind-altering magic on Quaver, rendering abilities such as mind-control, soul reader and such completely useless.

Sometimes the most intelligent, the greatest and the brightest minds the ones that break the easiest. If you truly are a genius, how can you connect to those who do not understand the workings of your mind of fail to keep up with what you tell them? Is it really WORTH it to try and make friends with those who will never understand what you know, no matter how you try to tell them?

Quaver was born a genius, being quick to learn things and even invent ways for himself to do things that shouldn’t be possible at his age (for example making a wing guard to help him fly far before his wings were big enough). The fire-colored coatl was a quick learner, eagerly soaking up all knowledge that was offered to him, becoming the brightest mind his clan had in a surprisingly short time.

Which was extremely beneficial when he developed an interest for the medical profession.

Obsessively studying everything he could to become a surgeon, his newfound interest seemed more like an obsession to those close to him, though the clan itself deemed it PERFECT.

His friends and family worried for Quaver’s health, but the coatl paid them no mind: He had tried explaining his thirst for knowledge, but they just didn’t understand and only grew more worried. Eventually Quaver shut them out, focusing all his attention on gaining more knowledge.

Knowledge is power, and power corrupts. For all knowlege Quaver had gathered, he had begun to 'forget' what normal dragons deem moral and what is going too far.
It wasn’t long before Quaver learned about Organ transplants, and the coatl took what he had learned and stored it like all other information his impressive mind could hold. At first the idea of organ transplants was the same as donating blood or even a simple surgery to the coatl, but when two warriors were attacked, he decided to try it.

One of them had died right before they reached the clan, and the other warrior had taken so much damage that their lungs no longer functioned properly. Though young, Quaver had proven himself the most skilled surgeon the clan had to offer, and as such decided to try and take the fallen warrior’s lungs and give them to the dragon who was currently fighting for survival.

However, despite his genius (or maybe because of it) Quaver failed to consider that others may be against this kind of procedure. The backlash the coatl received for the procedure –which in all fairness had saved the other warrior- was unexpected, and Quaver had to defend his opinion and his choice with all his might.

Those fools didn’t understand. No one understood

Growing tired of the controversy around his ideas, Quaver left the southern icefields and traveled to the only land where dragons were openly willing to abandon morals if it meant they would live to die another day.

The scarred Wasteland.
