Thanis

Thanis is one of the older and more strict skydancers. He believes that the breed is more advanced than others and pushed for the lair to be skydancers only long before the great awakening. He also believes that skydancers are only skydancers if they are pure bread. If a skydancer has mixed breed parents he thinks less of them. He also prefers physical perfection, any disease and or disability he petitions for them to be removed from the clan. This hardly succeeds but he still tries very hard. He is very attractive for a skydancer and even with is age is in prime health. He has many mates usually much younger and always very pretty. Female dragons seem to flock to him, he can be seen having 4 mates at a time, but he only has hatchlings with the ones of the highest perfection. If another has a nest that he has not aproved they have 2 choices, stay with Thanis and he will destroy the nest or to take their eggs and flee/ hide until they hatch and can gain protection from him by the clan.

He is rigid and stern, always observing and always judging. Inside he knows he is not perfect and that constantly bothers him. He was born with a bad heart.. many say that that is why he is so cruel and incapable of love. He however pushes himself and has strengthened his heart through shear determination but even he loses the fight sometimes and passes out from the stain on his heart. If a dragon witnesses his weakness they better run, everyone knows not to mention or be in his presence if he is weak or suffer his wrath when he is better. Many of dragons have been beaten within an inch of their life and still to this day have the scars from that day.. they definatly know not to mention it every or risk death.
