Radical

Radical came to the clan from the allied Nature Clan led by Havoc's mate. She is the offspring of one of the oldest pairs in that clan. Her father Lucifer named her Radical after chattering and rambling on about this and that after her clutch hatched. Radical had received the typical spiral personality: being hyper active. When she was young she would follow her father around to see what things he did, and soon she started following around others in the clan. At a young age it was obvious she was a vain creature. She'd spend hours cleaning and polishing her scales and gems. Radical was also the self proclaimed prettiest child of her parents.
After a while, though, she couldn't find satisfying activities to occupy her mind. While still a hatchling, she started to sneak out of the lair when her mother wasn't paying attention and would explore. One day she came across a bird with a broken wing. Remembering that her mother was a healer, she wandered if maybe she too could be a healer. She went over to the bird to try to help. Having no idea what she was doing, she accidentally broke the bird's other wing. Then she decided to try surgery on the little bird, and that didn't work either. Radical ended up killing the bird, but she discovered something even better: a new activity to busy herself with.
After that she started to sneak out more and do dissections and experiments on other creatures. She loved seeing how different organs interacted with each other and how the body reacted to different elements and magics. Radical started to do her experiments in lair after awhile. Most of the other dragons started to avoid her after that, being a nature clan they felt the need to help things, not kill them. Samiya didn't approve of Radical's new activities, being the main healer in the clan, but she didn't want to be mean to her daughter. She took to finding something to distract Radical and get her away from her latest "patient" and then Samiya would see if she could heal the poor creature he daughter got a hold of. If she failed to heal it, she would have one of the carnivorous put it out of its misery. Radical grew to resent her mother. Lucifer on the other hand didn't make known if he cared what his daughter did and would often talk with her about what she discovered.
Radical quickly became agitated within the clan and found it stressful to live there, but being young and inexperienced, she was afraid to leave. Then one day Shamble's mate came to visit. Radical had only heard a few things about him and she was really curious. She watched him from a distance when he arrived. He smelled so strange to her. He smelt faintly like death, and strongly of the disease and sickness that clung to the scarred wasteland. This enticed her to come and meet him. She also realized that Shambles held a very similar smell to Havoc's that was buried under the small of the Viridian Labyrinth which they lived. Soon she started chattering with Havoc excitedly about where he lived and what it was like there. And in the end she came to the decision to go home with Havoc and left with him without saying goodbye to her parents. Shambles gifted her Blushing Pink Rose before she went.

Radical loved her new home, but it took her a while to get use to it. The stench of illness and disease really bothered her since she grew up in the fresh air of the forest. But no one bothered her or thought she was strange with her favorite activity. She quickly became friends with the other Spirals in the clan and made herself a pleasant home within the cracks and crevasses in the lair. Soon her activity expanded from dissecting and experimenting on small animals to large ones. Radical even tries to experiment on other dragon's familiars, but has been thus far unsuccessful, these dragons defend their familiars.
Her mate Zaulen came to the clan a few months after her. He was a quiet Shadow dragon and Radical thought he was pretty. She talked at him a few times, for she would ramble on and he wouldn't say a word. They quickly grew to like each other and soon became mates. Zaulen would often gift her pretty items that called to Radical's vanity, one being her cape, which makes her think she's royalty.
