INFO

Meriele is a drifter. Though she originally lived amongst the Ludonero clan, the purpose of guarding and guiding the growth of Sornieth's rivers did not drive her. She had visions of a bone white tree in pain, calling out to her, and followed them: first south, out to sea, and then west, till her travels led her to a small island off the coast of what is commonly referred to as the Windswept Plateau. There, in the midst of thick foliage, she found the tree that had called to her for help, and appealed for mercy in her visions.

Guided by the tree's suffering, she found an ancient tomb that may have belonged to some of the very first dragons of Sornieth. The practice of burying the dead is unusual for dragonkind outside of the Earthshaker and Gladekeeper's known territories, for in many places the ground is too rocky or cold to dig into for such a thing. But here, a complex structure had been left behind, standing empty, and within it Meriele felt a disturbing presence-- that of the Shade.

She fought the moving, zombified remains of the dragons who had been buried there at the behest of the tree, and when she returned to it, received a vision directly from the Tidelord, which left her indisposed for many days as she recovered. By the time she was finally able to rise again, the bone-white tree's once-bare branches had filled out completely with fresh, ashy-green foliage that glimmered and glistened in the sunlight.

She knew what she must do next, though the how and why were not so clear in the vision she'd been given. So determined, she sought out the nearest clan of dragons at once to join them and prepare: now she walks with the members of Clan Nehara, waiting patiently for the sign of what is to come in the future.
