Biography

Kestral is the granddaughter of Matriarch and Hoardfather. Her parents have traveled on in Wind dragon fashion. She was born in the clan while it was still a Wind clan. She was always a fighter. She frequently got into fights with other hatchlings over the smallest an silliest of things. She likely got this from her father Reave, who was a Mirror dragon. When she came of age she decided that her Charge would be her beloved grandmother. Kestral was always very serious. She was quick-tempered and spoiling for a fight. In fact she is somewhat paranoid, in the fact that instead of seeing potential friends in others she sees enemies. Although when you finally do get her trust she is protective and extremely loyal. Her intense dedication to guarding her grandmother and the clan has put off several suitors. As of now she has stopped trying to find a suitable mate as it's not important to her. Although the clan has transformed into a Plague clan, and Kestral does love and worship the Plaguebringer, but her devotion truly belongs to the Windsinger.

Kestral has always been in charge of the security and defenses of the Clan. She is part of the Council, but usually refrains from participating on most decisions that do not effect the defense of the Clan. When not securing the Clan she will be guarding her grandmother. She also will also occasionally accompany Sonnet and Darwin on their trips to the Coliseum.

Kestral spends so much time training, improving defenses, or guarding that she rarely does anything else. Her only hobby seems to be the art of bodypainting or piercing. She views her own body as a canvas and has ended up painting her quiet devotion to the Windsinger onto it. Other members of the clan will go to her for help with piercings, tattoos, or bodypaint.
