Sanguine

Even when born at a priviledge nest, out of Lightning kings, Sanguine's first steps to the dragon world weren't easy at all.

As many other brothers and sisters she was sent off, as a baby, to the common market grounds to see if she was able to find her fate in some new strange lair, away from the comfort of that land full of static electricity she was born in. She somehow managed to arrive there when a massive war was taking part. A war in which different lairs went on to the market in order to get more soldiers for their cause.

And there it was her, a tiny gembond baby that made everyone turn their heads away.

-"She looks diseased!"
-"She won't be a good addition to our lair"
-"Her colors are great, but the gembond looks ugly"

Many dragons keep on repeating the exact same lines before turning away from her, until a big black dragon approached more and more. She realized he look just like her parents. He was a guardian dragon. A big black guardian with emerald wings and red eyes.

Unlike many others he didn't say a word, or turn his sight away from her little body. He looked mesmerized by her gems, a reaction she never saw before. Before she realized of what was happening he paid her fee and took her "home" with the rest of his lair.

It was a strange land, full of bones and stuff she never managed to see at her little stay at the Lightning territory...But she somehow realized she kinda fit there.

All the older dragons welcomed her in one of the most interesting ways she ever saw. Everyone was so happy about her coming to their lair as she was one of "the best plague dragons outside of Plaguelands they ever seen".

Her youth was easy. She adapted the welcoming pestilance land in no time and started to work in a new interesting project helping Plague dragons to develop new bacterial strains. Thanks to the best combination of her fiery science passion and her new strange infectious environment this was an absolutely easy task. Around that time she also managed to meet a nice Arcane noodle, who ended up being one of her biggest confidents.

With the time and as a way to honour her royal lineage, she was offered herself as part of a genetic enginering project dedicated to make dragons more adaptable to their flights. She suffered several modifications that made her skins and wings more acceptable for a Plague dragon, letting her now gore-geous gembond to pop out even more.

Now she's one of the most famous non Plague residents, and the head chief of the Infectology and Genetical Enginery lab along with her noodle friend.
