Parteners with Rustroam in her hunting missions, be it fodder for Volparie or some unfortunate dragon some clan wants dead.

Genov's training alongside Rustroam under Volparie's comand has influenced the male Ridgeback's decision to remain by the female Ridgeback's side and to always team up with her in missions, but he will never admit it - he willjust be as prickly as a cactus if anyone mentions anything close to it. He still can't help but love the thrill of a bounty or fodder hunt together with her. They are a well oiled machine despise their different ways and opinions: while she has a code of morals and fights fair, he has none of those and will go to great lenghs to get what he wants, even if the deed is going to be a dirty one. For him, treasure is treasure even when it's bathed in an innocent's blood, so there is not a single chance a fodder's cry for mercy will free him from reaching the Mire and meeting Volparie, where it will be trained before being sent to serve under Plaguebringer.
