Cleopatra

Even when she was just a little thing, barely able to walk without her mother's help, Cleopatra was interested by dead things. Being the only offspring of Athena's first clutch, Cleo's mother wanted her to go far, teaching her everything she could in the little time she knew they would be together. During Athena's attempts to teach Cleopatra to hunt, showing her how to kill things, it was obvious by the way the little hatchling merely studied the dead thing her mother placed before her, that she had more interest in the things after death, rather than before it's death or the act of killing it. It was around this time that Charon came to visit his origins, making a visit to the clan of his father, Bane, where Cleo had been born. During his visit, Charon had been also making sure the water clan was able to bury it's dead and care for those who had passed on. Cleo almost instantly took a liking to the grumpy Mirror and his decaying bear companion, clinging to the two of them the second she took notice of his occupation. After the short visit, this little one managed to slip away from her mother long enough to follow Charon home to the Light's Bane Clan, where she almost immediately instilled herself as Charon's apprentice.

As her mother panicked about the little one's disappearance, Charon begrudgingly agreed to teach the little beast about his trade, giving her the skills needed to become a grave digger, funeral director, and even the process of embalming the dead, or otherwise disposing of dangerous remains, such as Imperial bodies. Athena, of course, came looking for the little Snapper, after hearing one of her clan mates on the idea that she may have come to their sister-clan, and found her in one of the rarest moments any of either clan had ever seen, the little snapper was curled up under Charon's wing, with his bear and her new familiar huddled around the two of them all sleeping together. It was difficult, but Athena accepted that her only child had become attached to Charon as his apprentice, and decided it was best to leave her there, but left her a gift, a scarf that the little dragon now wears always.
Cleopatra's companion, a bone serpent, has been known to get her into trouble with Charon by sometimes chewing on the bones of the dead while Charon is stripping them of their meat, it isn't common to see this behavior, and it is always chastised for it by Charon, but Cleopatra herself just loves to see the little serpent happy.
