Emporio

An old, grumpy merchant who's been in business for as long as he can remember. He's blunt, gruff and to the point; he hates beating around the bush. Thanks to doing business in Merchant Town, Emporio is grizzled with experience. Bandits have thought twice about stealing from him; he's not above scuffling or fighting dirty to defend his own wares. His default mood seems to be annoyed and tired of everything, though that's nothing a good drink and a friendly bout can't fix.

He's often affectionately referred to as the group's dad, much to his chagrin. He can't really fathom why younger dragons keep flocking to him to confide in him or ask him for advice; he claims he was never good at that emotional stuff and admits that his advice is terrible. While he's correct that "fight them" isn't always the best solution, Emporio does seem to be able to see problems for what they are and give a clear cut summation of where the true problem lies - even if he doesn't realize it.

He's best friends with Charon, a blacksmith. Emporio hung around the Coatl in his workshop for so long that he gathered a fine layer of molten crust on his wings and tail.
