Leader of Clan Militia

B I O G R A P H Y

Cassidy is quite old for a professional coli fighter, and she knows it. This has not slowed her down however, and she is one of the most capable fighters in the clan when it comes to a straight out bout. Neither the physically nor magically strongest, she has the stamina to outlast dragons half her age and the strength to kick their butts to hell and back.

All this makes Cassidy very proud. She remains old fashioned, and loyal to Casdis, who originally gave Cassidy a place in the clan. Due to her age, she sees herself as some sort of nobility, who has risen above her low birth and mercenary past. Although Casdis took her on for the clan’s protection, her pride and personal conflict with Amaria have now made that impossible. Cassidy believes that her history with the clan (for she’s been with them longer than Amaria) should make her leader of the entire military; she’s far to prideful to bow to a newcomer, even one older than her.

In an attempt to compromise and satisfy both dragons, Casdis gave Cassidy lead of a small, local militia. Officially, they are for inter-clan relations (such as battle outside clan borders). Unofficially they do more to manage civil violence and unrest, while Amaria and her guards look for external threats and patrol. These days, Cassidy spends most of her time training youngsters and sparring with other members of her militia, which she sees as below her dignity and not a great use of her full capability.

M I L I T I A

VAL is Cassidy’s second in command. He is young and enthusiastic, and looks up to Cassidy as his idol. He is an extremely capable knight and melee fighter.

DRACO is the militia’s mage, although he is also a capable fighter. He is able to create deceiving illusions and physical blades of shadow. Unfortunately he’s also an eternal pessimist and a bit of a little b*tch.

SONIC is an alchemist mage. He mixes spells and protections as well as some rather nasty explosions. Magically, his skill likes in protections and banishment, but he’d much rather mess around with chemicals and SCIENCE.

PERFICIA is a berserker. Capable of incredible violence when riled (or when you call her Perficia) she is immune to many magical attacks, and many underestimate her speed and viciousness until it is too late.
