Unlike his father and mother, Rodran has never learned how to wisely speak circles around people or even how to woo them into doing as he asked. Instead the words of those that came before him act as his backbone and reasoning. One of his mother's many children and his father's first son it isn't uncommon for him to travel with his parents on their ambassadorial trips, acting as scribe to note all things of import that might be discussed. And it is during these trips that he is able to really sink his teeth into that which he loves. Books and books listing family trees, previous treaties, stories that hallmark the once high and mighty elemental deities, and even the legends passed down that speak of those things that creep far into the night.

Yet always he returns to his parents' sides with his bag of scrolls and books, ink and quill, ready to notate what must be done and agreed upon; though ever guarded by a living sculpture that his mother imbued with life it protect her little treasure on their travels. Lorna and Orison might seem derisive to their first child together but Rodran knows the care and love they hold for him, hoping that he too will one day find somewhere and someone who will spark the need to write his own unique history. Until then he continues his journey with them.
