It was a terrible accident in the lab that took away [...]'s spirited nature and bright mind.

A studious Light dragon, [...] used to spend his days studying recipes and memorizing formulas to improve his chemist abilities. The chemical engineer prided himself on his work, teaching himself new ways to create products that would help the dragons of Sornieth in many different ways.

One day, while working on a cure to a variant of the contagion that had spread to a poor young Fae in a Nature clan far from the Scarred Wasteland, [...] was uncharacteristically careless with his ingredients. He caused a chemical explosion, one that flung shards of beaker into his arms; shards that were dripping with the blood of his infected client.

From that day forth, [...] has never been the same. Perhaps his body tried so hard to defend against the contagion that he had an adverse reaction, and instead of infecting his body, the illness affected his mind.

He has never been quite as brilliant since then; in fact, many fearful dragons call him a 'mad scientist,' and cower away from his lab. Persistent as ever, Whist works night and day, busying himself on new potions. No longer, though, does he make antidotes.

Now? He engineers infections.
