Medieval diminutive of ELEANOR, ELLEN (1) or HELEN. It may have arisen from the medieval affectionate phrase mine, which was later reinterpreted as my Nel.

Nell came from the clan of reversedpolarity

She loves making a huge mess of the den and is always the center of the trouble when its caused.
She is always telling tall tales to the hatchlings but is the head of every search party as she and her Banded OwlCat (Sally) are great at scavenging and hunting for smaller critters.
She keeps a collection of her favorite trinkets and some health potions in her satchel along with the gifts and letter from her parents.
She frequently writes to them and visits when she can, which sadly isn't very often.
