TOPAZ, GUARDIAN OF THE AUTUMN SHORE Wanderer, dreamer, Guardian of the Autumn Shore —————————- Born as the weather was turning cold, Topaz has always been fond of cold weather. Growing up on the Shifting Expanse, she always dreamed of living some place with trees, and longed to see the leaves change as the seasons turn. She left to find a home like this. She collects old things; antiques, bones, old rocks, and wood. Despite her best efforts to keep her hoard small, Topaz's collection has grown to the point where she can't carry everything with her. This has caused her to leave stashes all over Sornieth. Her charge is nothing physical, and perhaps what other guardians would consider lazy. She has chosen to guard the spirit of fall. Topaz considers this to be giving warmth against the cold, telling stories wherever she goes, and eating and sharing delicious food. Having found her home among the shores of the Thousand Currents, Topaz has become surrounded by other dragons whose valiant courage in battle has given her a great appreciation for all things, including the honor of the fallen. In this light she guards not only the warmth of hearth, home, and harvest, but also has become a loving and tender heart to all of those who have lost someone in combat. |
