Started life out as a humble tundra, but her and her mate Selden had an incident while sneaking around the clan's vaults and opened up a pair of Imp scrolls. Never had the heart to change back, but honestly Despair just likes having a longer neck so she could wear more scarves.

She also has a soft spot for animals, thanks to a few of her hatchling memories from her original flight. She's pretty much the sole reason why the clan had to dig out an entire new section to the vault for the critters, as even the space in the familiars area was getting too crowded.

During one momentous occasion her clown colors had started to fade, and Despair had been in low spirits until her mate decided to surprise her with a custom skin.
