Biography
Lavender is a kind, gentle Fae who speaks in a voice as soft as a spring breeze. He loves fashion, and spends his days holed up in his studio, creating countless garments to satisfy the clan's insatiable love for apparel. He is also known for wearing lavender perfume behind his frills, so that whenever he moves, the scent wafts about the room.

When he does venture outside his studio, Lavender enjoys tending to the clan's glowshroom garden with Corona.

He and his mate, Fire, make an unlikely couple-- the petite, delicate tailor with the enormous, hardy blacksmith. The two met one day when Lavender was summoned to the forge to collect some armor for repair. It was a simple task. The leather straps on a set of pauldrons had broken, and he was to stitch them back together.

When he entered the forge, an enormous dragon stood in the middle of the room, silhouetted by the flames. The dragon turned to face him, and removed their helmet.

It was a female guardian, with gleaming orange hide, an enormous, branching set of ebony horns, and bright blue eyes. She was wearing a set of dark iron armor that was covered in soot.

"Yes?" she queried, her voice smooth and calm. Lavender expected her to sound gruff and scratchy. All the words he had been about to say fled from his mind.

"I, uh... um..." he mumbled incomprehensibly, scuffing his feet on the stone floor.

"Oh, you must be the one I summoned about repairs." She nodded to the set of pauldrons on a table by the door. "The leather straps are broken, and they're too small for me to repair." She tapped a very large claw on the floor. It was almost as big as he was.

"Ah, um, right," Lavender mumbled. "I'll just... take these..." He fluttered over to the pile of armor, grabbed it, and heaved. He made it about a foot into the air, wings flapping madly, before he was dragged to the ground in a heap.

"Ow."

"Oh, how foolish of me. Let me help you take these back to your shop." She moved over and picked the armor up in her huge jaws.

"Thanks," Lavender whispered shyly.

"Not at all," she said, speaking with a mouth full of metal and somehow still managing to sound dignified. She nodded her head, indicating for him to lead the way, and the two made their way down the corridor, her with great strides and him fluttering alongside her head. "By the way, I don't think we have met before. You are...?"

"Lavender." He said, blushing a little. It was a silly name. His hide and wings were both the precise color of the flower, hence the ever-so-creative name.

The Guardian looked surprised, and smiled. "I am Fire. Pleased to meet you."
