Biography
Uha grew quickly, filling out and learning in no time. Her mother soon left to join the Tidelord, feeling the call to battle too strongly to stay. Uha learned her mother's quiet demeanor before she left, blending it with her father's bubbly joy. Flitting about the lair she exuded a gentle adoration of everything around her. Other dragons said that she inspired them to be and do better. She swiftly advanced in her chosen profession, becoming the head of the scribes in the lair.
All the while she quietly wondered. There was romance at her core, a hope for the fated, gentle love her father talked about when he told her stories of his short time with her mother. She knew that her mate would be chosen for her, based on bloodlines and prophecy. She accepted this. But in her secret heart she dreamed of cuddles in the moonlight, romantic romps in the waves, a mate that would turn her warm love of life to a burning fire.
Then she met Ikad, and the boisterous, noisy Ridgeback showed her a different kind of love than she expected, something she hadn't even known she needed. She became more outgoing, and it only increased when they had their two eggs. Uha spent more and more time out of the nest, connecting with other new mothers and taking scrolls and documents back home to obsessively pore over what had been written on caring for hatchlings. It was the most talkative she'd ever been, her happiness bubbling over and coming out of her as interesting facts and theories on dragon-rearing that she'd spout at anyone who'd listen. That was mostly Ikad.
Uha continued working, now digging into anything she could find on prophecy, and the hero that her hatchlings would help produce. She taught them their history, so they would know their roots going forward.
