Viola was originally a Snapper dragon when she came to this Clan, but she wished that she could be more agile and fly better to protect those she cared about. A few dragons who had changed breeds before told her of the Forum of the Obscure Cresent and how they had gone and slept in the muck there; she only needed to really want something and keep it in her mind while submerged.

Determined to be of better use to the Clan, Viola traveled to the Cresent and sank below the surface without a second thought. She stayed under for days, internally wishing and begging to be given a form in which she could better help everyone. After five days had passed, and the Clan growing increasingly worried for her safety, Viola stumbled out of the muck. Her legs were longer and her wings had grown stronger and fuller, her squat body had stretched and become sleeker while her neck had grown long and elegant as well. Blinking in awe, Viola squealed in delight when one member brought forth a mirror so that she could see her new body. Everyone agreed that being a Guardian suited Viola very well, as it was a manifestation of her will and desire to be a shield and sword to everyone who needed her. She has been training ever since, though she does take time off the search and care for abandoned eggs and lost hatchlings.
