Personality

Vincent has a mysterious vibe to him, but is still a very cheerful spirit. Even with his rough past, he cheers others up with small magic tricks and magical gifts such as familiars or flowers and plants he finds while looming in dark forests. His quirky side really adds to how magical and special Vincent is. He is very talented in his skills and has fun while making a living.

History

Throughout Vicent's life, he has had to keep hidden in the shadows in fear of other dragons and his mate finding out his true identity. A metaphorical mask shields Vincent, he cannot act certain ways of engage in certain habits, all in fear of suspicion of the other dragons that inhabit this lair. Tales from centuries link to Vincent's past, he was raised in a family of evil and hatred for the other clans; Vincent was trained to be a soldier, but he just couldn't do it. Now, Vincent can't risk anyone finding out his bloodlines, his family, and his true identity. He will forever be a friend of the shadows. Over the years, the looming shadows of dark forest and barren caves have become his safe havens for when he has meltdowns, or just needs some time to be alone and clear his thoughts. Something is just ever so intriguing about how shadows lay against certain surfaces, and how they seem to have the perfect choreography to mimic us. He has always been fascinated with them, Vincent believes they're some type of magic of bodies of creatures. Magic is one thing that Vincent does love the most, he never got time to explore it when he was little due to his families strict regulations as to what he can and cannot pursue in. Magic was one of the things that his family just loathed, they always said it was a force to make weak dragons stronger, and that strength should come physically and mentally. The belief that magic could replace such a impeccable skill in dragons horrified his family, which is why they resulted in training their offspring to be soldiers of the night, using their physical skills and not their magic that they possess. After leaving the ice flight and coming to the arcanist flight, he continued to study magic in a place he felt more accepted amongst the mages. He finally felt like he had found his purpose.
