Biography
Diistdoqo
Botanist
First of Lightning
|Inventive|Perky|Eclectic|
Diistdoqo was found as an egg by one of the clan’s metalworkers, Himdahokravaaz, while he was out gathering supplies for the clan. After searching around and finding no evidence of parents, he decided to take the egg home with him and care for it. A few weeks later, a little tundra popped out of the egg, strong in lightning magic but with not negligible nature magic talents as well. He was christened Diistdoqo, which means ‘First of Lightning’ in the ancient forest dragontongue. As a baby he was easy enough for Himdahokravaaz to handle, but as Diistdoqo continued to grow and grow, he became harder for the little fae to handle. That was when the rest of the metalworker’s guild stepped in to help care for the little dragon, training him to use his electric and natural magics for the good of the clan, no easy feat when two rather different elements combine. What was even more shocking was that Diistdoqo didn’t even seem to have an interest in the more mechanical aspects of his magic, and instead deigned to grow his own gardens, fungi and mushrooms providing an especially interesting outlet for him. With his combined magical skills, he was able to engineer several rather unique strains of molds and mushrooms, natural superconductors that once he learned how to care for properly became the electrical source for the entire clan. Now Diistdoqo works as the clan’s resident botanist, and thrills in tending his gardens and mushrooms. He has been able to grow and breed several unique species of electrical and conductive plants to energize and protect the clan, and hopes that one day his inventive way of powering technology in the Nature flight will be recognized and adopted by clans all across Sornieth. |
