TODAY
Officially, Tyelpe is the master weaponsmith of the Angband faction, and the mate of Mairon, the faction's second-in-command. This, however, is a polite fiction maintained on paper alone: in truth, Tyelpe realizes, she is something of a captive in an enemy land. Oh, she has the isolated workshop she had once dreamed of and all the resources to tinker and create with as she wishes, and indeed, it's everything she would have wanted, those days when she was stuck in the never-ending noise of her grandfather's stronghold, sharing a forge with two of hte most talented weaponsmiths alive. . . Now, though, seeing her three children grow up in the hard service of a warlord and her supposed mate cold and absent once she'd actually joined him in Angband land, she's not sure. . .


HISTORY

Tyelpe was one of Curufin's most talented hatchlings, showing an immediate affinity for her father and grandfather's trade. However, their pride in her abilities also led to Curufin and Feanor pushing her, always wanting her to be better, the best, and Tyelpe quickly learned to believe that as good as she was, she could never be as good as they wanted.
