One of the oldest dragons in the lair, although you wouldn't know it!
She radiates a perpetual heat, which makes her quite comfortable to be with on cold nights.

Bright and bold, with a temper to match her physical heat, Pixel has a reputation for bravery that exceeds even legend. Often on cold nights she will be surrounded by chilly hatchlings, and she enjoys nurturing the little ones every bit as much as she loves telling off teenagers for stealing books from Josephine.

The eldest of her siblings, Pixel's parents had high expectations. Laughing off their daughter's desire to become a blacksmith, they arranged a marriage with nobles in a neighboring clan and sent Pixel off to finishing school as soon as she was old enough. Pixel loathed the idea, but still applied herself, and by adulthood she was a mate fit for a king: elegant and poised, with a silver tongue and eyes set to melt any heart, she was praised as a beauty despite her rather drab colors. Behind her smile, however, hid inexplicable fury at her fate, and this exploded out when her dispassionate mate took his second mistress. She destroyed her marriage by speaking out against his actions, and was exiled from the clan in disgrace. She left with her head held high, and signed up as a Fire ambassador. She set out full of life, eager to explore Sornieth, but despite enjoying her lifestyle she still felt empty.

She met her true mate at long last. The gentlemanly Gawain, who was a frequent companion on account of being a Light ambassador, proposed that they make s permanent home in the interests of their love. After clan-hopping for a time they opted to stay in a small Plague clan, out of an inexplicable feeling that it was "home". The two are now one of the oldest pairs in the clan, and only one incident has seriously threatened their relationship. This incident involved a scientist, Dalton, persuading Gawain to partake in an experiment. The experiment resulted in a clutch of illegitimate hatchlings, and both Pixel and Gawain were horrified. Wounded, it took some time for Pixel to forgive Dalton's meddling, but she quickly adopted the children as her own, more for their sake than anything. One of the three children opted to stay, and this Imperial has been elevated to a position of high esteem in the clan despite his questionable lineage. Having no true mother, Pixel and Ichiko both worked to raise him, and his princely bearing fills the two with pride.

ScorpionWolf, Pixel and Gawain's eldest daughter, is another child that decided to stay. She and Pixel fight sometimes, but it is largely because Pixel wants only the best for her daughter. Pixel acted rather too violently against her parents' influence and wanted SW to carry out her dream of being a blacksmith. SW wished to become a mage, and after some tense words Pixel caved in. She is now SW's biggest fan, and it can be guaranteed that whenever SW competes Pixel will be on the sidelines, losing all of her dignity as she cheers and leaps in support.

Pixel's parents eventually split and joined opposing deities, but sometimes she feels as if they are watching, full of amazement and disapproval. Pixel now earns her keep in the clan by making delicate jewelry and training any budding blacksmiths, and she enjoys it immensely.
