Zeus

Zeus is named after the Greek God of lightning not because he is all powerful and mighty but rather because he is a dragon with a short fuse and an ego that is bigger than the entire clan. Zeus was raised by parents who succumbed to his every whim as he was the only child; this developed his ego, causing him to become arrogant and narcissistic, grooming himself to perfection every morning and night before admiring himself in the mirror. His wonderful appearance belies the cowardice that hides beneath him; after all he never had to once lift a claw to do anything, making him unprepared in the battlefield.

As a result of his polished exterior, Zeus has several admirers that follows him around namely, Kymopoleia, and the twins, Tsun and Nami. He has no interest in them but greatly relishes in their praises of his beauty, often secretly craving it when they are not around (which is uncommon as they stalk him like hawks). Zeus does however have an eye out for Hera. He often approaches her with declarations of great affection and never misses a chance to tell her how great he is. More often than not, he is met with looks of displeasure, disgust and abhorrence as Hera swivels around and walks in the opposite direction, indifferent to his gestures of romance. This, however, to the thick-skinned, pea-brained Zeus is nothing than more than a challenge, not faltering in his stride as he takes it upon himself to gain her love (which is sooooo not happening).

Being the annoying upstart as he is, Zeus views himself to be superior to Boreas, often bragging of overthrowing the strong leader. Boreas on the other hand views him as a flea - bothersome but not worth anything. Also, because of the fact that Zeus does not training hard enough, viewing himself to be "above" it (more like being scared of chipping a perfectly manicured claw), he often finds himself at odds with Boreas. However, it is quite a humorous sight to see Boreas challenging Zeus to a battle for the title of Clan Leader, only to see Zeus running back to his part of the lair with his tail between his legs!

The only person Zeus trusts is his faithful familiar, Zapper, who has been with him since he was a hatchling. He loves Zapper dearly and Zapper, despite being somewhat embarrassed by his useless master, remains by fearlessly Zeus' side, acting as his bodyguard and helping him to fend off anyone who tries to hurt him. Although Zapper is afraid of Boreas' battle-hardened familiar, Impala, as she has beaten him up once before (and trust me, Zapper says once is enough).
