Elaisa considers herself many things.
In the clan, she is the writer of stories and the giver of names to hatchlings that seek to honour the Plaguebringer with their services.
Outside of the clan, she is the welcome visitors deserve, the ambassador of her clan and the messenger of wishes of strong winds and fertile nests.
To Warsong, she is a friend, a hat and an eater of the bugs that constantly bug him.
To other breeds of dragons, she is a small, green thing that catches your eye in the midst of all the greys and brown of the Plaguelands.
And to other fae, she is emotionless, her fins unable to shift and rise and spread.
In the end, she is herself.
A fae far from home, and yet it doesn't matter, because she likes it here.
And isn't that the most important thing to do?
