Gullveid's right hand goods smuggler. Some may call him slow witted, but it's more than likely a ruse perpetuated by his humble attitude and thick accent. He prefers working in the background, in the shadows where no one would be the wiser to the goods stuffed in the various pockets sewn into his clothes. Stumbling onto the Cartel looking for work, Gullveid was pleased by his willingness to obey without hesitation. No one can say that Algae doesn't work hard. Oftentimes Algae knows that he's doing something he technically shouldn't be, whether it's trading questionable substances underneath tabletops or delivering mediocre weapons to rival clans. However, he finds it best if he doesn't know the contents of his distributions, either. After all, if caught and questioned, he can simply 'play dumb,' and usually get away with it. Getting to know him, however, breaks past the sly facade, as he is kind-hearted and gentle and willing to talk to anyone who'll listen, though not many have the patience or nerves to put up with his almost gratingly high spirits - not that it would ever get him down. It didn't take long for him to get close to Quiver in an attempt to breach contact with Camelcase in an effort to extend treaties with other clans, and has stuck fervently by his side since. Owning a smile that warms and laugh to match, Algae carries an air of aloof carelessness that belies his ability to think quick under pressure and get the job done. He is usually eagerly determined to see a delivery or trade through to the end, which has garnered respect from even wrathful leader of the Cartel, though she would prefer if he didn't seem like his job wasn't important. Still, he has yet to fail any task set at him, and hopes to keep it that way.
