Kerrawy has always liked fluids. From the time she was young, she could be found playing with whatever liquid she could get her hands on, and would spend much of her time by the river. She would sometimes play in the river, but sometimes her clanmates would find her just laying in the water, letting it flow over her body. This habit stuck with her when she came of age.

When alchemy was first introduced to the clan, Kerrawy found herself drawn to the initial brew. Both for its fluidic properties, but she also found that she took to the task of alchemy well. She didn't mind if she spilled something caustic on her claws, for she was enamored with the way different things reacted to each other. Realizing that she had found something she liked, the clan decided to appoint her as the clan alchemist.

Kerrawy is a talented alchemist, and is always focused on the task at hand and is always intrigued by new ideas. Her only difficulty comes from her large size. Although she was granted a larger cauldron and materials, there were still many instances in which she had to work small. She worked hard at becoming more precise, which helped her work. But she still occasionally makes mistakes due to the clumsiness that comes with her size. She is a good enough alchemist to still get the proper reagent, but when these mistakes happen, the desired reagant will come out the wrong color. But Kerrawy is always willing to try again. She is passionate about her work, to the point where she made her cauldron her charge.

One day, Kerrawy got too deep into her experiments. She was trying an experimental brew when she had a particularly clumsy moment and fell into her cauldron. She didn't fall all the way in, but it was enough for the brew to splash onto her wings and onto spots of her skin. The experiment was ruined, and upon looking at her reflection later, she found that her wings had completely changed, as if it were toxic. Kerrawy was not sad about this turn of events. Her wings now reminded her of a flow, and she decided that the change was an improvement. Her skin was now more splotched, but she decided that it reminded her of the bottom of a water bed.

Seeing the vast changes in Kerrawy, a mischievous clanmate decided to take the changes one step further. He did this while Kerrawy was asleep, and she was startled to wake up and find out that her form had completely changed. She stumbled to her feet, not used to her new body, and walked to the nearest body of water to check her reflection. There, she found that she had been turned into a ridgeback. Shocked though she was, she decided to just go with it. Although she was still large, the change had brought more precise hands, which Kerrawy thought might come in handy in her alchemy. However, she did worry that the revulsion for water that ridgebacks held might come to her. To test this, she dived into the water. As it turned out, a sudden change in breed after a lifetime of being a guardian who loves water is not enough completely nullify her love of water. But it did feel different. It wasn't the same, and in some ways, it was more... unpleasant. Kerrawy deals with this through regularly immersing herself in water anyway, both to keep kindling her love of water and to get used to the feeling in her new skin.

She still works as an alchemist and loves doing it. But while she is more precise with her handiwork, she is still clumsy from her sudden breed change. That combined with her still being large sized means that she still makes errors in her brews. But she's a good enough alchemist that the clan is willing to forgive that.

Kerrawy still regularly questions her now ever-changing identity, but she is still an alchemist who is passionate about her work. And though she is still trying to decide whether or not she still likes being immersed in water, nothing has changed regarding her watching fluids and how they work, and finding them utterly fascinating.


Not to be deterred by the recent emergency, Kerrawy has opted to take her cauldron with her, and as many materials as she could carry. She is content to stay in hiding, continuing her work and opting to produce whatever the clan needs. While she wishes to be near the streams again, she'd rather not die over it.
She has been enlisting the help of Cahya more often when a dragon needs an herbal remedy, something she was content to experiment upon without aid before. She has been appreciative of Cahya's more direct nature at times, often giving Kerrawy more of an aim that sometimes motivates her to do more and better. While they were initially purely professional with each other, they've grown to enjoy each others' company, often spending long hours over the cauldron even when there were no frantic commissions. Time will tell to see how that blossoms...
