Name means "Shadow" in an unknown language. Few people truly know what Uutdekhu is like beneath the surface of calm poise and gruff speak; he is quite old, hardened, and unsettling. His expressions unreadable and body language confusing, some fear more to know what he actually thinks of them than to remain in ignorant bliss.

While he is rarely if ever outright aggressive, those who have the misfortune of becoming ensnared in his caring facade to their troubles find themselves stuck in a trap difficult to escape from.

He has a "habit" of "taking in" dragons under his wing who are emotionally, physically, or financially unstable, although there have been exceptions. The end result is the same - ensnared by sudden obligations too demanding for them to quickly satisfy, the victims are forced to pay back his generosity equal or greater to what he's given to them. Should they try to leave or seek help, there are consequences.

His sour and manipulative behavior for the most part has gone under the radar due to the connections he has with others and from isolating his "partners".
