Fishing Boat Captain

Practically born aboard a ship, Karou's known nothing else nearly her entire life. Growing up on The Origin under the gentle guidance of her parents and some of the greatest pirates she knew, Karou quickly developed a love for the job. There wasn't much she couldn't steal or any doors that could keep her out when she set her mind to something.

Eventually, she left her parent's ship, choosing to travel with an ally ship for a short amount of time. It was while she was with them that tragedy struck. News came of the Origin's attack, and Karou immediately set off on her own to figure out what had happened. She searched for months with no answers in sight. It was her mothers Jackalope that halted Karou's search. She'd stumbled across the creature in a city the Origin had been spotted before it'd gone missing. Altough with another dragon -and a little more ragged than before- she immediately recognized it. There was nothing that could separate that creature from her mother's side besides death, and although Karou didn't want to believe it, she resigned herself to the fact that her parents-along with the Origin, really were gone for good.

It took her quite some time for that to really sink in, and for her to accept the loss, but eventually she tried to move on, tried to keep going. Eventually her wandering led her to meet an Imperial named Brysen and his crew of fishers - and they were looking for a ship and a captain.

Karou now operates as Captain for Brysen and his team of fishers, providing seafood for Mallowhill, and sometimes shipping trade stock to neighboring territory.
