Part of my quest for Inheritance Cycle dragons!
Glaedr was the mighty dragon of Oromis, and the only dragon besides Shruiken to survive the fall of the riders. He lost one of his legs in a former battle, but he is still a very imposing figure. He and his rider train Erigon and Saphira in the ways of the dragonrider, and Glaedr helps even more by giving them his Eldunarí.

I honestly love all of your inheritance dragons, but Glaedr has to be one of my favorites. He's so pretty! I remember being so torn up hearing about what happened to him later in the books.

You have SO many cool dragons that it was honestly really difficult to pick just one :') I think you have the first Newt Scamander dragon I've seen, and I love your Loki, Beast, Mystique, and all the Inheritance Cycle dragons
I think my choice is going to have to be Glaedr! I have such fond memories of reading about him when I was younger. The memories now are pretty hazy, but I remember I really enjoyed his role as a mentor to Saphira and Eragon alongside Oromis. I still remember how heartbreaking it was to read about when he died in battle and 'woke up' in his eldunari- separated from his rider in a bitter defeat.
You did him justice with your design for sure. The apparel and imperial breed gives him the perfect 'regal golden dragon' vibe that I always pictured him having. The Gembond gene to mimic the scaly texture from the cover art is such a nice touch, too!
