The leader of House Silverwell, the trading and commerce clan, is a well-built Skydancer. She is not the easiest choice for the leader; nor was she easily put in power. Before the clan's current independence, it was involved in a large and complex governmental alliance that spanned a good chunk of the Refuge. By the rules of the organization, only a dragon of the House's specialty, in this case trading and artisans, could hold the top poison in a clan that held membership.

As things began to deteriorate and dragons began to realize and struggle against the somewhat restrictive rules of the group (and as the previous leader that ruled under the tyrannical faction abandoned the House after taking its wealth), Banire began to emerge as a strong and decisive leader, one who knew the right decisions for sales and creativity. Dragons from all flights had no qualms about approaching her and allowing her to mediate conflict between the the buyers and sellers, and House members in general. Eventually, all the dragons in the House reached a unanimous decision to cut ties with the ruling body, and start a new House in which more dragons could practice their skills.

Now she manages all legal and administrative parts of the clan. Perhaps her greatest fault is her pacifist nature and her unwillingness to hurt another creature- the only injury her hands sustain are from misplacing a needle when mending clothes.
