Iestyn could be considered a jack of all trades: he can do everything, but is not particularly talented at any one thing—or rather, his talent maybe the ability to do decently at juggling everything. It's why he's the handydragon of the clan, filling in all the roles that no one else can: carpenter, janitor, cook, mechanic, landscapist, maintenance manager, thing fixer, electrician, plumber, tinkerer, and more.

His most admired trait is his patience. Something he'd need a lot of to handle a mate such as Tiger Rose. He'll let you talk his ear off, give his time to fix your things when he's worked a long day, leave you to your own thoughts when there's an argument—even when his own heart is whirling with emotions. Selfless, kind, humble, yet so few notice what he does because he never mentions it.

One of his hobbies is fixing up the lost items he finds, occasionally gifting what he deems appropriate to the hatchlings. But he's not the best at discerning what is a toy and what is a trinket. They don't mind, as something is better than nothing. And anyway, sometimes it is a toy. The surprise is half the fun.

Besides his tendency to overwork himself and never saying “no,” Iestyn’s biggest flaw is his hoarding problem. Anything he finds when working, if he can't find the owner, he keeps. Resulting in his room being a huge mess of things—that is somehow both clean and organized.

  • Only makes soylent since he's bad at telling what food type is what.
  • Found and gave a watch to Cameo which unbeknownst to him had time travel properties. Feels really guilty about it, thought still has no idea what happened.
  • Tiger Rose had to catch his eye, rather than the other way around.
  • Doesn't ask for payment. So Blair ended up making it his job and adding it to the fees of staying at Starbound.
  • Used to be a Pearlcatcher. Pearl is kept in his room. It's not lost in there, I swear.
  • May of switched breeds because bigger body = more bags he can carry.
  • Regrets it 'cause so much preening—and wings! Why are they so big? And stupid empathetic Skydancer ability and WHY CAN'T I HOLD THINGS WITH MY TOES ANYMORE!?
  • Nobody talks about the see-through liquid-belly. Nor the slish-slosh when he walks or how his breath always smells like roses. It's weird.
  • BAD eyesight. He's legally blind. And forbidden to fly without his spectacles. And he has to look through them. 'Cause looking over them is a bad habit of his. It's a miracle he even managed to throw the watch in Cameo's direction. Or recognize him. Or not walk in the side of a mountain.
  • Gets teased for having a girly familiar but he'll teach them all when his nymph collects ALL the magic! MWAHAHAHAHA!
  • His familiar's name is Princess Bubble Beauty the First (or just "Bubbles" for short) and he loves her a lot, thank you very much. And no, it's not weird to get her dozens of dresses. Not when she looks this good in all of them, anyway.
