Corwin manages and coordinates Bloodbane's slave trade. Everything goes through him, from fishing operations to trades and sales. He is the one who oversees all citizens employed in some aspect of the trade (trackers, traders, catchers, keepers).

Incidentally he is one of the most powerful dragons in Bloodbane. He rarely needs to get his own hands dirty, as adept as he is with pulling strings from afar. He prefers to observe from a distance and avoid interacting with the slaves themselves. He is able to make hard decisions with ease, leading some to believe he has no conscience.

But Corwin is not an evil or cruel dragon, just neutral and desensitized and perhaps mildly ambitious. He holds the good of the clan over the comfort of any one individual, himself included, and his leadership is characterized by harsh, yet fair, decisions. He prides himself on his ability to make decisions based on rational logic rather than emotional whims. However, his job is consuming and because of it he has become somewhat cold and distant. He has trouble lowering his unemotional barrier and connecting with others on a personal level.

He is very tidy and organized. His lair is impeccably kept, and he refuses to keep a personal slave, though his position in the clan could afford him anyone he desired.
