Sepsis was adopted into the clan at an early age by Gweyr, who raised him much as if he was her own hatchling. She was fond of his tenacity and eagerness to follow commands, but more importantly she recognized his potential. He was immediately trained as a Blight Terror Soldier, a skilled warrior only called upon in times of great war and destruction, for with him came plague and rot. His noxious breath would wilt the healthiest flowers, contaminating surrounding areas with a horrid blight that could spread to neighboring dragons. Once infected, it was only a matter of time before their internal organs would begin to fail. It was widely known that Gweyr chose him strictly as a precautionary stance, that he would most likely never be put into service during his lifetime, and he did seem to add a sense of security among his new family. Many of the clan grew to accept him over time, becoming fond of his presence as he helped around the lair. During his free time, he wanted nothing more than to tend to the Poultrygeists with Takari. He had an immediate affection towards the odd ghost birds, and Takari was never one to turn away a fellow poultry lover -- especially when it was an adorable noodle hatchling. She never feared his true nature, and instead provided him with a safe outlet where he was free to be himself. As he grew, it became apparent that the two were nothing short of best friends. |
