The puppet master, the laughing drake, the shadow behind the throne--"Joker" revels in intrigue. His eyes are everywhere, in the fairies that flit round the island, the hatchlings that adore him, the loyal spies and scouts that report to him, and the dragons that owe the Donquixote clan favours.

Ruthless, deeply intelligent, paranoid and brutally strong, "Joker" hides his monstrous nature under a veneer of charisma, generousity and geniality, endearing himself to his clan--favourite amongst hatchlings (most often found nestling in his thick wings and mane), charming, lazy and beautiful, father figure and defender, he is the last dragon you might expect to wield the majority of political and martial power in the area.
Only a scant few know or remember how he and Historia came to power, and even fewer that "Joker" wakes most nights with cold fear scraping his bones, shade-wrapped memories of early hatchlinghood and lost family strengthening his ambitions for the clan.

Usually found sunning himself by the shore, or dipping himself in the island's many deep crystal clear pools and warm springs in the summer seasons. He takes great pride in the fact that his wings and mane are far thicker than an average imperial's, densely feathered and fluffy.
