One of Orlia and Arthen's younger offspring, he is determined to help Luciellia take care of his parent's clan. He spends most of his youth shadowing his father and learning everything from Babysitting tricks to battle techniques from the experienced patriarch thinking he might one day take the position of Clan Leader from Luciellia. He has since realized that Luciellia's empathy and love of others grants her a higher amount of potential to be a good leader than himself, so he has given up on becoming Leader and instead has forced himself upon Luci's side, whether she likes it or not sometimes, helping her with many everyday tasks, such as which dragons have which responsibilities. He's quickly learned the strengths of some of his clan members that some don't even know themselves. Like how Ailen got one hell of a nose for a good deal at the market, and Icnoyotl is actually surprisingly good with wild animals.

He is stubborn but has a good heart and cares deeply about his family, blood-related or otherwise, and tries to be respectful to outsiders. His favorite wind-down activity is to read fantasy and fiction novels in the quiet of his private room curled up with his mate, Lyus.

Koru's dragon considers him essential to his work organizing the dragon-pack, which Koru takes a deep pride in. When not at his dragon's feet he is delivering messages all across the clan, and his smaller size means he can much more easily access the nests of the smaller dragons up in the tree than Keldan can.
