Biography
Awakened Fungalhoof Qiriq
Awakened Everglade Lasher
Awakened Rosetail
She's been told she has that kind of face, you know, the type where strangers would accept a hug from you and random lost hatchlings start following you around until you drop what you're doing and help them look for their parents. A friendly face. A trustworthy one.
She doesn't feel awfully trustworthy. The problem is that being trustworthy comes with being reliable, and being reliable comes with not being too gullible. She's had a bad track record with friends - with dragons she thought were her friends, and then used her friendly-trustworthy face to trick other dragons. She always feels bad when she figures it out, and then she feels twice as bad because she's not even the one who they were trying to trick.
That's enough of all that, then. She's going to stop "helping" - a polite but firm no should do the trick, even if she's never managed to pull it off before! And also she's still obviously going to help the hatchlings. You can't just have lost hatchlings wandering around without someone looking out for them. And also she supposes she'd have to make exceptions for dragons who seem like they really need help, and dragons who look really out of sorts, and oh no. Oh gosh. Maybe she's the one who needs help?
This wasn't a problem back in the Southern Icefield.
He actually stood out quite well against the icy cliffs and blinding snow! It didn't even occur to him to be concerned about this, amidst the long, long list of worries he had about moving so far away from home.
Well, they've got grass here. And if he folds up his wings all snug and cozy, and settles himself down for a quick nap, he's learned that he will wake up to somebody tripping over him, or hatchlings tumbling head-over-heels over his horns because they're playing tag, or somebody else trying to take a nap on what looks like a nice soft hummock.
He can't bring himself to mind too much, though. It's nice to have the company, and he is quite soft, and he finds naps are always improved by adding a couple more dragons to the pile.
