Biography

My mother was a faithless wanderer, a pretty Spiral who captured my father's heart and then left him with three sickly younglings. Gwendira died from lack of proper care, and Nacelle, filled with the same spirit as our mother, left and was exalted. Luckily, Father's true mate, Eliean Taeruq, stepped in as soon as she was grown. She had never given up on Father, and she raised Nacelle and me for most of our life. Father is having a nest with her now, and he hopes to have sons to name after his dead nest-brothers, Findly and Malus. I am named after his nest-sister, the quietest and most loved. Findly, Malus and the first Amara died of plague not long after my grandmother left. Father adored his nest-siblings, and I am glad he has found happiness with Eliean.
I have fled with all the others who, like me, have parents from other lairs. We flee the wrath of Queen Filino, who would have us all killed.

Here the winds gust strongly, and create a melody of peace.
