Biography

Void the Rogue

When Void hatched from his egg, he immediately found himself greeted by a pale mirror whose green eyes stared into his with interest.

"Are you ready to atone for your fathers mistakes?" asked a young fae who sat atop the mirror's head. Her wings glinted as she shook them in the burgeoning light. "I am Enchantress." A fruity scent filled Void's nostrils, and he relaxed. "And this is my mate, Sandspite."

The named mirror nodded. His wings flexed to demonstrate his strength as he began to speak. "Before you ask, we are not your parents. You had parents of your own, but we will hatch you and raise you as our own in the ways of war." The pair nodded.

"However, listen carefully to us. Needless bloodlust will only cause trouble. It won't solve anything," Enchantress stated. "Your path will be filled with training, but you will not be a murderous killer."

"Wha-?" Void raised his head at his new parents. What was going on?

Void's father is a Shadowhunter who was after the lovely wandering princess of Nature. When Void and his clutch was borne, the eggs were pushed away to avoid the corruption of Soulhunter's blood staining Nature flights. Clan Wildwing took him in, deciding to teach him how to fight so that he might fight those on his father's side, rather than against the chosen princess.

At first the spiral trained in melee arts with Sandspite, and learned the ways of nature. Echo taught him slight nature magic as well, but it never clicked with him. With a visiting thief who sought temporary shelter and training; Void trained with him into the path of a rogue, which he now excels at.

Void is the now the recruiter of The Knives, a group meant to perform more stealthy operations. However, due to his heritage: Void has a strong hesitance of shadow dragons, to the point where he will avoid them until he knows them better. The move of the Clan from the Nature Flight to the Earth Flight has made him feel better about his ancestry, so distanced from both sides of the conflict. And he has begun to heal.
