From the Greek meaning "a survey of or meditation upon death."
Thanatopsis blew into the lair one cold winter evening with the ice upon her back. Many of the elder dragons did not trust this stranger's motivations, but the young Spartacus was instantly drawn to her, though he would try to fight the feelings. She settled into the lair slowly, quietly; she goes rather unnoticed by anyone who isn't directly looking for her.
Helaena will often get into fights with Thana, due to Theta's interest in the younger dragoness. But she also feels the connection to Spartacus that he feels for her. She is taking her time to slowly draw the angry dragon out of his self imposed shell, trying to get him to break away from his sire's influence. However, her motives may not be as good as they seem to be upon the surface.
