Biography
Talia free as a bird - unknown - bandit her banded owlcat “I am always up to no good, and I'm very pleased about it.” More will go here - personality - what she likes - what she doesn't like |
Not a lot is known of Talia’s origin as it is a mystery to herself as well. But the day she stumbled upon the lair of drgrim and was confronted by the Alpha of the lair Kilo she could barely speak and she was placed in Cassandra’s care. Weeks passed and it took a lot of patience from all the dragons involved to get her to talk and open up. It was eventually Dillion, the wildcard of the clan, to whom she opened up and this was her story:
I was raised by banded owlcats, no one knows why or how I got there in the nest but they raised and cared for me like their own. However I always knew I was different, although I was able to change my shape to that of a giant owl I could never take the shape of a true owlcat. My brothers and sisters still treated me the same and enjoyed the difference in size of us, often riding on my back when they didn’t want to fly. Those were fun times. But there comes a time that owlcats have to leave the nest and find a place of their own and my parents told me to go search for my ‘true form’. Which I guess they meant figure out what I really was because for those years I had only lived as an owl. In this quest for answers I was luckily aided by Bandit one of my owlcat brothers. The roads we followed were harsh and not all of the creatures we met were nice towards the two of us. Apparently we were an odd sight, a banded owlcat and something like a giant owl acting like a banded owlcat but not really being one. To us this didn’t matter because we had each other and that was what mattered to us. And after weeks we suddenly, by accident, stumbled upon a cave in which we took shelter because it had started to hail and the weather turned harsh and unforgiven. And in that cave we met him; ‘Thanatos’. You all know him as well as he is your clan’s emissary. He told us, or well me especially, that I had come to the right place and that he could help me assume my ‘true form’ but that it wouldn’t come for free or cheap. Which he meant literally, not in some kind of “you can pay with your soul” way, no I had to work for him and earn my keep. After a month or two I got what I was working for, which was some kind of weird adornment. He called it the “Naturalist Adornment” and as soon as I put it on I took the shape you are looking at right now. I think you call it a Nocturne right? After I got these Adornments Thanatos threw me and Bandit out of his cave exclaiming I had to find my own home now and after a few wrong turns I turned up here. As for not being able to talk has probably to do with the banded owlcat dialect, I never knew I didn’t talk your language as I could perfectly well communicate with Thanatos. And thus Talia joined Kilo’s clan. You can often find her changing to her owl shape and flying around with Bandit and Senka, patrolling the borders. Rumors also go she can read one’s mind but she stays quiet when confronted with that question. One should however always have one eye open when Talia is around as she is very fond of pranking, scaring or messing with others. She can be a real trickster sometimes and is always up for causing mischief. She will however never hurt her 'victims' as her pranks are rather 'innocent' and won't cause harm to one, maybe damage their ego a little, but never physical harm. The yelling wyrmpeck on top of her head can’t be explained as it one day just decided to never leave again.
Their modus operandi is simple. Talia will always ride in her Owl form on Kitsune's back whom is in her Fox form. Sneaking up on their victims Talia will say in an omnious voice "We have come for your soul, there is no escaping anymore." at that moment Kitsune will release her Coldflames chasing after their victim if that said victim decides to run away. The poor victim however will then be chased by Talia with her huge claws extended and Kistune growling and showing sharp looking fangs. As soon as the victim is cornered they will steal small items from the victim such as necklaces or earrings, which they will proceed to wear and laugh in glee, however before the victim can even notice the items are gone they have already given them back. Once again Kitsune will summon her Coldflames which dance around the victim and they flee while laughing omniously leaving the victim to wonder if it all was real or a hallicunation.
Although their pranks are harmless they have been punished multiple times already, by their respective clan leaders Kilo and Kuroha. Their punishment mostly consists of doing boring labor such as dusting, cleaning out the lair or sort books in the library. But once they are free again they just smirk at each other and it the mischief will start again. No one is safe around them. So if you see these two together just watch yourself because no matter how big or small, or young or old you are, you as well will eventually be the victim to their pranks.
