Nacre was the first newcomer to join the lair, already cranky and critical by the time he arrived as an adolescent, seeking out his new fortune as wind dragons are wont to do. He was raised by the young clan leaders with their first clutch like an older brother, and has come to know his leaders deeply and fondly, for all he likes complaining about everything, not hesitating in voicing his opinions, loudly.

This keen eye for flaws has become an excellent aide in his training, having led to his respected position of Doctor, often accompanying the warriors of the lair to their forays against the Shade, where his healing often proves a decisive factor in the safety of his team.

While generally a deeply sarcastic fellow, he has twice proven to be an utter softy in love: first with Pinctada, who departed to serve as a scribe at an Arcane ally's lair. His loneliness was soon interrupted by the arrival of the sweet Arcane Ambassador, Inia, who soothed his more irascible traits.

He'll still shout at you to tears if you irritate him, and Tidelord save you if he starts one of his rants on Plague.
