Ahh, yes. The kitchen. The wonderful kitchen- full of marvellous scents, delightful tastes, and endless possibilities for creation, and while some of the possibilities end in disaster (or at the very least a sour dish), Torrent knows there's even more potential for greatness. You'll find Torrent in the kitchen (regardless of what qualifies as a kitchen- if it's a fire pit and nothing else where the food is prepared, you'll find Torrent there), often laying with whatever's in a clan's cupboards or stores, snooping to see what that clan's residents eat. He's well-mannered; if you ask him to stop rifling through your supplies, he will. Prepare yourself for an evening of conversation about your clan's eating habits and preferences in return, however.

Perhaps allow Torrent to stay in your kitchen. Allow him to look through your belongings. Really, he's just interested in the foodstuffs. What might this clan enjoy out of these ingredients? Perhaps this cut, combined with those spices...? Ah, perhaps this dish, but how can he make that with these ingredients? Torrent's passion is cooking, and if you let him stay in the kitchen, really, there's no place he'd be happier. And in return for not booting him out, he'd probably be more than thrilled to show you his cooking prowess- you won't regret giving him that opportunity.

Ahh, yes, Torrent is also a divinely skilled Seer, able to foretell the dish you'd most prefer, knowing to avoid that one food you were forced to eat as a child and now have grown to hate as an adult... Yes, of course his Seer abilities could be used for things such as, oh, foretelling futures, one supposes... But getting Torrent to discuss anything more important than a side dish can be quite the challenge! Side dishes are important. The entrée must have a suitable companion. He's quite cheerful and a pleasure to talk to, but can be difficult to work with, often dancing around the subject you want to discuss in favour of literally anything else- usually food. Hopefully his happy demeanour and delightful cooking will make up for any hours spent trying to get any information out of him.

When Torrent was very young, he happened to meet Tinder, a slightly older Skydancer. Only Torrent can say what he foresaw, but whatever it was, Torrent and Tinder have been together ever since.

A popular question is, "Where did you come from, Torrent?"

He usually replies with, "Taste this soup for me, tell me what you think."
