NAME MEANING - a family of confections based on a gel of starch and sugar.

Bio - From a young age, Turkish has always wanted to travel to the Crystalspine Reaches to study Astrology. Unfortunately, he found he had absolutely no talent for it, no matter how hard he tried. Down on his luck and depressed, Turkish thought that he was a failure and that he should just go back to Dragonhome and forget about this. That is, until he realized the second thing Arcane Flight are known for: Crystals!

As terrible as Turkish was at Astrology, he was a natural when it came to Crystallography. He loved getting everyone’s praise and approval. Soon after he mastered his trade, he came across a tricky Skydancer by the name of Calavera who had an affinity for painting skulls. She always wanted someone to prove themselves to her, to make them be worthy enough for her.

Turkish began to rack his brain for display of his worth, and came forth with a beautiful crystal skull, winning her affections.

Soon after the two became mates, Calavera announced that she must return to her Clan. Though saddened to leave Arcane, he decided if it was good enough for Calavera, it was certainly good enough for him.

Turkish returns to Arcane once a month to gather findings upon crystals and swap his with other crystallographers. His den is filled with carved ice crystals and he loves to watch the light shine through them.
