Starshine

Starshine was raised with the highest expectations of someone who guide the clan to higher heights, but was plagued by his own thoughts and feelings.

One of the many children of Aedus and Marian, Starshine was introduced to the world bright, cheery, and curious. With a natural charisma, he was a leader among the children of his generation. Yet, something malicious lurked within him.

One season, a sudden misfortune swept through the clan. Plants withered, waters were shallow and barren, and hunting was equivalent to the eradication of species due the scarcity. Even worse, illness spread through the clan. Many dragons were exalted to meet with the higher beings. The population was decimated. Only a few remained.

Starshine was a victim of the illness and the weakness that resulted from the illness still lingers to this day. His wings, once healthy, now are feeble, pink, and translucent. Scarring litters his body when the hallucinations from a high fever resulted in Starshine scratching himself.

Now, he stays grounded at the base of the clan. He broods and other dragons joke by saying he's sulking. But there's an emotion that's building up and threatening to spill over within Starshine.
