Appearance

Dottalie is a well-groomed and handsome coatl. He stands tall, with a thick build that’s well-adjusted to the freezing climate he’s borne from. His clothes are well cared for and warming, if a bit outdated looking. He’s still fairly young, but the vibrancy of his coat is prematurely starting to fade and his headfeathers aren’t as voluminous as they once were.

Character

He works as a maildragon delivering parcels here and back within the Ice territory. He has little interest in travel and is content to stick to the same routes he’s traveled, arriving like clockwork every day. He’s the editor for the local newspaper and will often hand deliver issues to others, taking the opportunity to interview them on the next week's topic while he’s there.

He has an itch for gossip and often ends up prying into others business and even inserting himself into the situation to mediate. This rarely ends well for anyone. Despite this, he means well and manages to maintain civil relations with most dragons in the region.

History

Dotty was hatched and raised in a neighboring Ice clan and began traveling to the settlement with his mentor who was an envoy. His mentor would work out the details for trade agreements, then bring the results back to their clan. They would often spend several days at a time at the Spire, and Dotty enjoyed himself. Once he began his routes as a courier, he jumped at the chance to travel between the two clans once more. He now lives jointly between the two settlements, with a den of his own in both.

 "Oh, that dear old bat? We have lunch every few days. She always has her ears open, but you only learn so much waiting for things to come to your office and schedule an appointment. If you want the really interesting tidbits, you have to be willing to ask! ...Still, you must admire her dedication. She's more reliable than some of the clocks in this place... older, too! Bahaha!"

Milly:
 For someone who swears by how freeing living on the road can be, Vermilion seems to be running away from her family's expectations of her more than anything. Dotty has tried to suggest in a dozen different ways that she should confront them, but she never listens. Still, he really admires her drive to earn a larger readership. in her eyes she has a lot of potential and believes that she merely needs someone who stick with her.

Bell-head:
 Belrune isn’t technically his boss, and he refuses to let her forget it. He might find her more tolerable if she wasn't so insistent on to be far too loud and demanding and frankly doesn't understand what Vermilion sees in her. He continues to feel slighted by the time that she tried to ban Pooky from the mailroom—as if his darling could give anyone trouble, allergies or no!

Vywkse:
 An admirable, striking dragon... Dottalie finds himself hanging on to his every word and spends more time and effort than he'd like to admit trying to garner his attention. If only he wasn't so busy, maybe he could whisk the guardian away to do something fun, maybe get him to loosen up... But alas, he's a classic workaholic. Dotty will take what he can get, so he's distributed informational leaflets on clan safety and assisted with running drills so much that he knows them by heart.
