Cirque

Cirque is a dragon that likes to joke around and have a good laugh, but he is also quite studious and takes learning incredibly seriously. He believes knowledge is power and that knowledge and learning are a right to all dragons and as such he never turns away a dragon that comes to him with a question or inquiry no mater how difficult or stupid.
He is jovial with everyone he meets, and when teaching a class he always goes out of his way to make sure it is entertaining and fun.
Cirque grew up among scholars and academics, his clan well versed in history, mathmatics, physics, sciences of all kinds and more literature than one could fathom. His birth clan was home to all sorts of knowledge and he hungered for all of it, reading day after day, hour by hour, minute by minute. Through his youth he couldn't recall a single moment when he wasn't studying some text or scroll to further his own knowledge base.
As he grew older he wanted to share this knowledge base, but found little help from his family and clanmates in Arcane. So he decided to pack his bags and take his knowledge to a place it would actually be appreciate and used. He flew as far as his wings would take him, teaching dragons as he went and trying to find a new home for himself.
By chance he found Clan Cross, to be honest he was just passing through and heard he could find a place to rest the night and stock up on supplies there. He was surprised to see things he had never heard of before, such as Beltane's golems (though she to this day refuses to tell him how they work or how she made them), and the electrical lights that light up the inside of all the trees and seem to have grown into the very wood and stones themselves.
He rented a room at the Owlcat Tavern and decided to spend the day exploring. While the private homes were off limits he found quite a bit of delight looking through the bazaar. He ended up finding the library near the end of it. One of the clan leaders, Elinor the Wildclaw, had been caring for it in her spare time but it was obvious it wasn't being kept as it should.
It felt like a crime to dragon kind and he got to work immediately, cleaning and repairing what he could. He almost forgot to return to the tavern to use the room he had rented.
The next morning he went back to the library and got back to work again, cleaning and repairing, reshelving books in their proper place. This time he had a fellow guest, the wildclaw Elinor herself. She watched him in silence as he worked for awhile, before she approached him about perhaps taking over as librarian for the clan. It was used by many dragons, but had no dedicated caretaker to look after it and see to its needs.
Cirque took the position immediately and has loved his new home ever since.
He holds weekend classes to help Hosanna with her own teaching work within the library, teaching a new subject each time and sometimes going into more detail the next weekend if it is in heavy demand.
