Moss is a field researcher specializing in the way flora react to different environmental factors. Things like whether exposure to Arcane magic speeds or slows the growth of a certain species, how they react to different types of soil, the effects of a disease on a healthy plant, etc. His wife Conifer is another researcher studies how plants adapt to their environments over time. Moss is also very brave. When his first clutch exalted themselves to escape bullying, his wife temporarily went insane from grief and blamed herself. Then the Ice clan they lived fell apart all around him, but he managed to keep a level head, and got his wife and friends to safety. Later, he was also the one to find them a safe home in the StormyWoods clan, and was also the one to suggest that the four of them choose new names to try to avoid reminders of their old life, and try to move on with their new one. His original name was Major, but he likes his new name much better. After all, mosses are very interesting.
