ONCE UPON A TIME
It was once that Key was laid to rest, ruling many a generation and king for an age. However, his time was soon forgotten for the era of the new king Vetanah. Time passed, the people forgot, all for a select few. Citizens came and went, and while monuments were erected in Key's name, the likeness wasn't exactly... accurate. They show an old, decrepit king. Wise beyond his years, but showing a fatigue not many can understand. The Key that was reborn is different. Young, youthful, and decidedly dangerous in the way he presents himself. He wasn't expected to be revived himself, but odd things happen when you least expect it.

He's impressed with how much his kigndom has flourished, and really, Vetanah is trying his best and he respects that, but one look at the high priest and Key knows that he and his wife are up to no good, and he really should put a stop to that for Vetanah's sake. He's amused with Amenhotep's distinct lack of friendliness, neither one were expecting the long forgotten king to be up and walking around again, but here he was. Word gets out - by Amenhotep possibly? - that he had returned, and with him returned his daughter, Noelia. He's happy to see her, relieved that no real harm came to her. His next stop is checking in with his son, the vampire king Marco.

He doesn't think his son is going to expect his return either, but he figures if anyone could help pinpoint how he returned, he could.
